Childbirth Education
Your birth and your postpartum experiences reflect the childbirth education that you receive during pregnancy. Childbirth Education at Babies Naturally can be done individually with one of our knowledgeable practitioners or you can join one of our small classes. We respect birth as a entire shift in consciousness for the new family, so we look beyond the surface issues that are typical of most childbirth education classes. Birth has the power to change what you think and feel about yourself. Explore how to make your birth an empowering experience. Fee – $175.00
Labour Support
Our labour support providers will be on-call for you 2 weeks before your due date, will be available for enhanced birth preparation meetings for you if you so desire. We will support you through the birth and make sure you get the best start possible with breastfeeding! Within twenty four hours of delivery we will check in with you & we will do one follow up postpartum visit. We will not book anyone within two weeks either side of your delivery date. Some insurance companies will provide coverage for certified labour support providers! Fee – $750.00
Breastfeeding Support
If you are struggling with breastfeeding we are available to help. It is our goal to help you to put theory into practice, have a deeper understanding of the way breastfeeding really works, clear up any myths or misconceptions that you have about breastfeeding and help you with any challenges that you may encounter in your breastfeeding relationship. We can usually see you same day for breastfeeding support. Inquire about our bulk packages which can be purchased at a reduced rate. In Home Consults – $95.00: Consult In The Clinic – $75.00
Parent Training
Being a parent is the most important job that you will ever do. At Babies Naturally we want to help you to become the parent that your child needs. By exploring and understanding your own childhood and past experiences, you will learn how to respond, not react, to your children. Parenting classes at Babies Naturally teach you that parenting is not “all about you.” As you parent your children through all the stages of life, you have the power to deepen the connection that you share with them.
Family Counselling
Allow us, at Babies Naturally, help you to navigate some of the more tumultuous experiences and times in your family life. We believe in the power of a family to heal us as individuals and we want to help you when you are no longer feeling joy and love as a family unit. We work with families at all stages of life including parenting children from birth and up, empty nesters, couples struggling with fertility, aging couples and families that are dealing with stress, loss and devastation. With compassion and empathy, we will help you work through the hard times.
Massage Therapy
Massage Therapy has been widely known for it’s benefits to the human body, both in the treatment of acute conditions and preventative care. As well as the benefits associated with helping the body to tune into the parasympathetic nervous system, and regain a sense of overall homeostasis or balance. Massage can benefit anyone, but in particular our mums and their growing babies. Our massage therapist has extensive training specific to the needs of the prenatal and postpartum mother. Massage during your child bearing year can:
- Improve your experience with pregnancy
- Reduce and even eliminate pain associated with a growing changing body
- Increase your sleep
- Decrease your stress
- Prepare your body for labour
- Help your body recover
Postpartum mums are welcome to bring their newborns with them to their treatments, and breastfeeding is both allowed and encouraged. Our massage therapist has a private practice, centrally located in London, Ontario. Appointments are available for daytime, evenings and weekends. Fees:
- Prenatal Massage $90
- 30 minute massage $65
- 60 minute massage $85
- 90 minute massage $115
